FENIX ARE-D2 Charger is a dual-channel smart charger, designed for a variety of batteries of different sizes, whether it is Li-ion, Ni-MH or Ni-Cd. Supports charging by Micro USB cable with a total charging current of 2A, for faster charging and discharging at the USB end to charge other devices. The high-definition LCD screen clearly displays the charging, discharging and battery status. The charger also includes multiple built-in protection circuits to protect against short circuit, over-current, over-voltage and reverse voltage.

FENIX ARE-D2 product features:
Charging current:
- Channel A is for normal charging and channel B is for fast charging, the rated charging current of both channels is 1.0A.
- Li-ion battery – when channels A&B or only channel A are installed with batteries: 0.5A and 1.0A can be selected by clicking the corresponding button once; when only channel B is installed with batteries: 0.5A, 1.0A and 2.0A can be selected by clicking the B button once.
- Ni-MH / Ni-Cd batteries – 0.5A and 1.0A can be selected for channel A or B by pressing the corresponding button once.
Battery discharge
- Channel B is in discharge state then channel A has no battery installed.
- After rechargeable battery inserted into channel B, connect the USB port of the charging device to the port of the charger to start discharging. The maximum discharge current is 2A.
- When discharging, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds, the “USB 5V” icon on the LCD screen will continue to flash. At this time, the charger opens the small current discharge mode (about 100mA), press the button again for 2 seconds, the “USB 5V” icon is always on, and the small current discharge mode is limited.
- The LCD display will show the battery level and current voltage during discharge.
*This charger only works when discharging Li-ion battery. When it is charging, the discharging function will be locked. When charging is stopped, the USB discharging function will be unlocked and can be used for external devices.
Note:
- Battery temperature below 55°C during charging is normal, but due to high charging current, the battery may get hot
- Trickle charge 3-5mA for Ni-MH/Ni-Cd battery to ensure battery is fully charged.
LCD screen
- The LCD screen will display light for 2 seconds after connecting to power source.
- If the channel has no battery, the LCD screen will only show the battery symbol after 2 seconds, and the screen will turn off after 30 seconds. Press any button once, the screen will light up with the battery symbol displayed.
- The battery type, capacity and charging status will be displayed after installing the battery. Click the corresponding button once to select the charging current for 8 seconds with the battery icon displayed. Then click the button once – the display will cycle through charging current (mA) → battery voltage (V) → charging capacity (mAh) → charging time (T). Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn off the LCD display. Press the button again to turn on the LCD display.
The battery LED displays as follows on the battery status bar
- 1 flashing light: battery is less than 20%
- 2 flashing lights, battery level: 21% – 40%
- 3 flashing lights, battery level: 41% – 60%
- 4 flashing lights, battery level: 61% – 80%
- 5 flashing lights, battery about: more than 81%
- The light does not flash, is steady on: the battery is fully charged.
Short circuit protection feature
- If a short circuit is detected, charging will automatically run.
Reverse voltage protection
- If the battery is installed incorrectly, charging will not start.
Overload protection
- When fully charged, the charging current on the LCD screen will display 0.
Note :
For Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries only. Other types of batteries may cause puncture, leakage, explosion and may cause damage to people and property.
Use the battery charger under normal working conditions and disconnect the power completely after use.
Do not disassemble or modify the charger or use it for any other purpose.
Keep the charger out of reach of children. Children should only use the battery charger under adult supervision.

Step: 2 Add to cart

Step 3: Payment
At the shopping cart screen, you will check the information about the product you want to buy one more time before paying.
Step 4: Confirm payment information
- Fill in your contact information, in which, name, address, phone number and email address are required.
- Select shipping method. Shipping cost will be calculated at this step.
- Select payment method.
Step 5: Confirm order
- Once you complete your order, a confirmed order notification screen will appear.
- PHU THAI TECH's system will send a confirmation email containing your order number to the email you entered earlier. Please check the information carefully and notify us immediately if you have any changes via email support@phuthaitech.com.vn .
- For customers who choose to pay by card , you will be redirected to the card payment gateway after completing the order. Here, you will choose the appropriate card type and payment method. The order will be delivered within the specified time after the payment is confirmed.
- For customers choosing the cash on delivery (COD) payment method, the order will be delivered within the specified time after the order is confirmed as valid payment (valid COD).
- In case you choose to pay in advance via bank (bank transfer) , please pay after completing the order (details refer here (Payment Instructions) .
- Once payment is confirmed (valid payment), shipping information will be updated via email and the order will be delivered to you.

1. Payment by card and installment payment by credit card
- PHU THAI TECH supports card payment and installment payment by credit card. Select card payment in the payment section and click complete order, you will be redirected to the interface to choose detailed payment information.
- Customers can choose to pay by card such as VISA, MASTERCARD, JCB...
- For orders over 3 million, customers can choose to pay in installments via credit card. The payment gateway is supported by nearly 30 banks and financial institutions. Customers can choose different installment periods such as 3, 6, 9 or up to 12 months.
*Currently, only 2 forms of payment: card payment and installment payment via credit card are available on Eshop. Other payment forms are still under development.
2. Payment method upon receipt of goods (COD)
- Cash on Delivery (COD) is only accepted for total order value under 3,000,000 VND.
- Applicable to customers who choose Cash on Delivery and are in the area where we support delivery (see Delivery Policy for more information).
- If the payment is valid (COD is valid), the customer's order will be confirmed via email, then we will update the delivery information and proceed with the delivery within the specified time. The customer will pay directly to the delivery staff upon receipt of the goods.
3. Prepayment via bank (Bank transfer)
- Applicable to customers who choose the form of Prepayment via bank.
